Excellent! I am generally nervous when it comes to dentist appointments and, sadly, have been putting them away time after time because of that and previous not-so-great-experience with dentists in my life. But at Pearls I felt instantly welcomed and at ease, thanks to both staff at the reception desk and also the dentist and nurse themselves. The dentist explained every process of the exam to me and gave me suggestions for options regarding my treatment plan and I also felt I am in good hands and in a friendly environment. I would not had said this before, but I am looking forward to my next appointment at Pearls Maynooth. Thank you.

There are only good points with this surgery. They open on a Saturday, they gave me the best filling I've ever had - no jagged bits, no sensitivity, fits my bite perfectly and they did it so fast, The receptionist is great with people and professional. For immunocompromised people they are great again. They were happy to wear the aura respirators I bought in, donned them properly, I asked if I could bring in an air filter and they're happy with that too. They understood me wanting the 1st appointment on a quiet day and even have given me a long appointment to do the rest of the work I need so I can minimise appointments. Absolutely stellar. If you or a loved one need to be careful I thoroughly recommend them.

Best dental experience I ever had. I was terrified of going but from the start AnnMarie answered all my questions by email she was so helpful then greeted me with a friendly smile at the front desk. Dr Sammy was amazing he made me feel at ease I wasn’t 20 minutes in the room and had my wisdom tooth extracted. I couldn’t believe I had no pain at all it was unbelievable. I’m now 2 days after and didn’t have to take a painkiller all went so smooth. Thanks again.

It’s not be enough to say from Receiption to doctors brilliant, highly recommended

What questions do people in Dublin, Kilkenny and Kildare ask about children’s dentistry?

Your family dentistry questions answered

How can I help my child enjoy visiting the dentist?

Children aren’t born disliking the dentist - somehow, a dislike can creep in over time. At Dentistry.ie, we want to avoid that. Our dentists build a relationship with children, working with their sense of curiosity and explaining everything in a friendly environment. The sooner a child comes to see us, the better, as they are immediately put at ease. This sense of comfort helps make the next visit a pleasant experience rather than one of dread.

Why is early dental care important?

Maintaining healthy teeth and good dental habits is key from a young age. We want to prevent problems before they start, advising on a good dental hygiene routine, identifying and fixing potential issues and teaching children to care about their dental health.

What age should children have their first dental check-up?

We recommend bringing your child into our Dublin City Centre, Kilkenny, Kimmage, Balbriggan or Artane practice as soon as their first teeth come through. Early visits help children get used to the dentist and allow us to spot any issues as they develop.

What if I didn’t bring my child in at an early age?

Many parents have other things on their mind when baby teeth start coming through and that’s understandable! However, the sooner you can start bringing your child to the dentist, the better. Often, children listen more to a dentist about caring for their teeth and good brushing technique than to a parent. Early visits can also allow preventative treatments, such as fissure sealants, to help reduce the risk of cavities.

What if my child is afraid of the dentist?

Bring them to Dentistry.ie. Our dentists are passionate about treating children and are committed to ensuring all children have the best possible experience. Book an appointment today. Our dentists are here to help you and your child.
